This position is an entry level buying position with emphasis on buyer training, to include hands on buying and negotiating experience
with less complicated vendors and product categories.

Maximum - $75,272
Training in weekly team buying at a level that achieves service level goal of 97.5% in grocery, 98% in dairy and frozen food,
and 96% in GM/HBC.
|2.||Training and conducting in selection and purchase of new items.|
|3.||Training and conducting forward buying, if required, to maximize return on investment for respective categories.|
|4.||Training and conducting promotional and reserve buys in order to meet demands of retailer customers.|
Training in organization of various files needed for accurate costing and invoicing to retail customers (Deal file, item file,
cost file, billing file).
|6.||Assists in all departmental activities, including food shows, trip programs, etc.|
|7.||Training and execution of billbacks in order to collect money due MDI.|
Participates in regular visits to the warehouse, returns area, and retail stores to keep abreast of any problems or
opportunities that may pertain to buying.
|9.||Maintains consistent communication and positive relationships with all customers.|
Supervises operation to comply with all applicable FSMA regulation, as well as Company Food Safety Plan, policies,
procedures and standards.
Candidate should possess the skills and knowledge generally associated with a bachelor's degree in Business or related field, MBA
preferred. Should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and analytical skills. Multi-tasking with strong
organizational skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
